Savoy Tulip has 23 homes: 9 two-bedroom (2 BHK) and 14 three-bedroom (3 BHK). They come in eight layouts. The ground floor has three homes, and floors 1 to 4 each have five homes, with the same layout on every one of those floors. This post compares all eight using the area statement from the project brochure, so you can see where each one sits before you open the plans.
How the homes are spread across the building
- Ground floor: unit C (2 BHK), unit D (3 BHK) and unit F (3 BHK). This floor also has the entrance lobby, the lift and stair core, and car parking with a ramp to the basement.
- Floors 1 to 4: unit A (3 BHK), unit B (2 BHK), unit C (2 BHK), unit D (3 BHK) and unit E (3 BHK), repeated on each floor.
That makes one 2 BHK on the ground floor and two on each upper floor, and two 3 BHK homes on the ground floor and three on each upper floor.
The 2 BHK homes
The three 2 BHK layouts are close in size, with carpet areas between 642 and 654 sq ft. What sets them apart is mostly the balcony.
- Ground floor, unit C: 642 sq ft carpet, 49 sq ft balcony.
- Floors 1–4, unit B: 654 sq ft carpet, 29 sq ft balcony. The largest carpet area of the 2 BHK homes, with the smallest balcony.
- Floors 1–4, unit C: 642 sq ft carpet, 66 sq ft balcony. More than twice the balcony of unit B.
If a bigger outdoor space matters to you, look at upper-floor unit C. If you would rather have every square foot indoors, unit B has the most carpet area.
The 3 BHK homes
The five 3 BHK layouts range from 741 to 916 sq ft of carpet area. Three of them sit close together: ground-floor unit D (741 sq ft) and upper-floor units D (742 sq ft) and E (761 sq ft). Unit E also has the largest balcony in the building, at 81 sq ft. Upper-floor unit A (811 sq ft) and ground-floor unit F (916 sq ft) are noticeably larger, and F is the largest home in the building.
2 BHK or 3 BHK: what the numbers show
- The smallest 3 BHK (ground-floor unit D, 741 sq ft) has 87 sq ft more carpet area than the largest 2 BHK (unit B, 654 sq ft).
- Every upper-floor 3 BHK has a balcony of 73 sq ft or more. Among the 2 BHK homes, only upper-floor unit C comes close, at 66 sq ft.
- Ground-floor homes share their floor with the entrance lobby and parking. Upper-floor homes are reached by the lift, which runs up to the terrace.
If you need a home office, a room for visiting parents or space for a growing family, start with the 3 BHK layouts. If two bedrooms are enough, choose between the 2 BHK homes by how much balcony you want.
